For 2 generations, La Méduse has been a blown glass workshop open to the public. The oldest artisanal blown glass workshop in Canada, La Méduse is committed to the transmission of its know-how and wishes to perpetuate the work of blown glass by creating original, creative and quality works, in a pleasant atmosphere accessible to all!

Glass work at La Méduse blown glass
Each piece of blown glass made at La Méduse is made of sweat, fun and island wind!
All our pieces are unique because they are handmade, in an artisanal way, in our workshop located on an island, in the middle of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
The little La Méduse team
Catherine Chevrier-Turbide and Sophie Bourgeois are the two glass artists behind La Méduse. Both glassblowers and co-owners, together they create a world of glass that is both creative and original. Welcome to their world!
Where we live is Havre-aux-Maisons, in the Magdalen Islands
We are located in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, in a pretty century-old building, on top of a beautiful hillock, in the heart of the village of Havre-aux-Maisons. Come see it too!
