View glass samples from the Funerary Art collection. In our workshop in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine. Free and open activity.
This collection incorporates cremation ashes inside glass pieces. Souvenir works that give a touch of the eternal to your deceased loved ones. Say goodbye to a loved one in the elegance of a glass artwork with ashes. Choose a unique, handmade glass work.
For more than 15 years, La Méduse has incorporated the ashes of deceased people into glass works. We believe that such unique, colorful and elegant creations can be a tribute to those who have passed away, as well as an ode to the beauty of life.
We therefore work with respect for the ashes of the deceased and we strive to create your glass souvenirs to the best of our know-how and with the experience of more than 20 years of blown glass. We are proud to present our complete collection to you.
Furthermore, if you are on site and our staff is available, you will be able to ask your questions, and see what the ashes do in the glass.
Ask your questions and our team will be happy to answer you to the best of their knowledge!
Dates: All year during opening days (except exceptions).

During your visit to La Méduse, you will perhaps have the chance to share the reality of the artists by watching them work in the heat of the ovens. Take advantage of this opportunity to smell the smell of wood, see the artisanal work live and live more of the experience that La Méduse blown glass offers you.

At La Méduse all our glass pieces are created by hand, one by one, in an artisanal manner, in our workshop located in Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada. In existence since 1985, our workshop is one of the oldest blown glass workshops in Canada. We are now the second generation of glassblowers to continue this age-old know-how!
